Minimalist Game Jam is a week-long game jam to make a game using the given theme and the restrictions while focusing on the mechanics and keeping the game minimalistic.
The game could be:
- A platformer with more than one level.
- A multidimensional game.
- A game with more than one genre.
- A game where you control two players at the same time.
1. The game that you submit must be made within the date and time listed above.
2. Games submitted should be using the given theme and the restrictions.
3. Games submitted to this game jam must not contain nudity, hateful language or visuals.
4. Provide at least a Windows or a browser build for the game. You can support other platforms (such as macOS and Linux) if you wish.
Q: Who can enter?
A: Anyone, from anywhere. You can work solo or team up!
Q: What tools can I use?
A: You can use any tool you want to use.
Q: When are you going to announce the theme?
A: At the start of the game jam.
Q: What assets can I use?
A: You can use anything you're legally allowed to use. Give appropriate credits where required. Don't use any resources you don't have the rights to use, or you will get into trouble!!
Q: Can I update my game during the rating period?
A: Yes, you can! But you mustn't add any new features, and you need to include the changelog in the description of the game.
At the end of the Jam, there will be a rating period that lasts one week.
