Great job submitting a game and congrats on top 10!

Love the minimalist visuals and the animations are super clean and smooth. Hitboxes are very precise which is essential for fighting games to feel good. The dodge mechanic is fun to use and allows some skill expression. The final kick is a great finishing touch.

The different types of enemies added some variety. It subtly reminded me of how the pacman ghosts have independent ai but it feels like they work together. The boss fight is a great end to the game and the the sfx were well chosen to add weight to player attacks. Good work and thanks for participating. It was fun to see your progress on the Discord channel!

Hey there :). Thanks for playing and the feedback.

I did kinda focus on game feel above all else so I'm glad it was apparent lol. Thank you for hosting the jam

Really fun gameplay, the animations are really great!

The only downside point is that the background doesnt feel pixel perfect,  the pixels move weirdly. Same for the walls (Unity....).

Hit P to bring up a pixel grid. You'll see that everything's aligned. ( Webgl version in full screen does have some issues but it's proper when not in full screen. Windows version doesn't have any problem here though  )

Thanks for playing

Really challenging game! I included it in my Nokia 3310 Jam 4 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Wow! This dodge mechanic feels so good :D It was challenging at first but immediately addictive. I like kicking their butts from behind while they're still charging their swing :D Would really love to see what can be done here with less limitations although even these super lospec graphics are very neat!

I Love The Animation And Art, The Game Play Was Good Aswell! Good Game

Wasn't good at it, but the animation and movement is really impressive.

I'm amazed on how you manage to set this up with a Nokia feel. Reminded me of Kung Fu for the SNES nice mechanic, maybe add a softer difficulty curve.

Hehe- I was soo bad at this; but it looks and feels great :D

Very nice! I like how detailed the animation and background is despite the limited the resolution and colours. The gameplay itself is fun too. I like the risk/reward of getting in as many hits as possible before dodging.

Fun game as usual.  Feels good to play and nice to have the telegraph ring for the attacks.

This is a very charming, short 'n' sweet little beat-em-up. I thought the dodge mechanic was well done, and the graphics were very nice with the 3d effect (the screen resolution was probably a little too small for the 3d effect, but what can you do with a Nokia phone?) My only real criticism (if any), is that the played health bar appears to use subpixels? If so it was probably unintentional, so it doesn't really matter. Still, a very solid entry!

This felt really comprehensive. Gave me of a strong feeling of Karateka (but much faster) and Kung Fu. I thought the use of the dodge mechanic was well implemented. For myself specifically would have also liked it to work if you held down first and then hit a direction (found myself holding down a lot).

Graphically it felt really robust too. Really got a sense of being there with the background and gates. Loved that there were also different enemy types too.

Great work!
