I love the footprints, solid design choice!
Honestly my favorite of the Jam so far. It just works really well. At first I thought it was weird that holding your breath while moving was so effective, but it lead to a really cool fast-paced stealth system that I really enjoyed. I loved ducking and weaving through the crowds and progressing through the levels.
The sound was minimal but effective, and I loved that when I heard a ton of footsteps, I had to figure out if it meant there was a ton of enemies, or that I was actively being chased, which was super tense!
The only things I would add would be some sort of timer, so people don't stick around on a level and instead play fast and loose while balancing breath. and sometimes when passing through doorways, the wall obscures my vision so I can't see if an enemy is going to tackle me when I pass through. Not sure how you would fix that but it's something to note.
Seriously though, hats off to you. This was really impressive to pull off in the time period.
Very nice aesthetic and atmosphere! As others have mentioned, the monsters are a little few and far between, making it a tad on the easy side. After some design iterations, this could be really creepy and tense!
Is a cool concept but found it a bit too easy, think it'd be funner if it was more challenging, maybe if the monsters were more intelligent and could see and chase you etc or something. Also would be nice if you could see your current score. Thought it the theme well and the aesthetics were cool, think it has some good potential

I really love the aesthetic choice here, it's very moody! Wasn't very obvious what the breath mechanic was for.
Excellent concept and very creative. Feel very tense when monster near you. The sound effect is very good, allow me to guess where the monster is without seeing it. I think it has high potential if you develop it more.
Such an amazing game, no faults to it. Just needs to make the itchio represent how amazing it is.
A game hasn't stressed me out like that in a long time love the atmosphere and feel of the game.

Thrilling aesthetics! I really like how monsters appears from nowhere. I hope you get the chance to come back and polish the menu and the "breath" option (not sure to see what was its use).
