No, I'm using a mouse. My setup is indeed a laptop, but it's plugged to a monitor, keyboard and mouse so I don't know if that affects anything.

No it's just I've only heard of one other person ever having this issue and they were using a trackpad. I just downloaded and tested it on Firefox and it works fine for me there. 

Sorry but I am unsure as to why you are encountering this bug. Very strange. Only 2 people out of the hundreds that have played it have experienced it.

All I can suggest is to try playing it on Chrome or Edge.

Thank you for your time to respond my comments. It’s most definitely something on my end that I can’t figure out and not on the game itself. It won’t affect my rating of the game at all, I think it is very fun and clever. Being able to name the tornado was a nice touch.
