Finally beat the game, damn it was such a tough fight of strategy (and RNG lol) I think the aesthetic of the game is amazing, but sometimes the game mechanism can feel overwhelming and unforgiving sometimes (overly rely on rng when using cards, I hope there will be a card that let your choose the card you want for an energy in both exploration and combat). Campsite card could be at 1 cost of energy instead to improve the flexibility when exploration. Also I feel there should be more levels before major boss fights and therefore more rewards after each combat (at least 1 chest or toad shrine/campfire that is already there) Lastly the shop could feel redundant at times due to inconsistency (sometimes it cost food to buy and sometimes it's key, sometimes it just gave you stonepick even though I have foods and keys) and lack of good choice (the weapon could be pre-buff, since you wouldn't really need weapon with barely any damage in late game).


Also a question:
The boss that was suppose to evolve after death (phase 2,3,4) just dies when I hit them with high damage units, is that supposed to happened like some kind game mechanic or something?
