was this aviable for the itch.io app before? seems like I can't update it with the app even if it tells me it should work.
I can't answer that question for sure. I don't have the Itch app, but I had no complaints about it before your post.)
Then I probably remember it wrong
On the section labeled as "Download", the files do show the label "External". Games can be installed in-app if the files are uploaded to Itch.io rather than an external source such as MEGA.
