Simple, beautiful, peaceful fun! Lovely experience.

But... but.... I tried
Great concept, especially like the way you can't spam attacks and how it ties into being an artist. Hits home all around, brave choice to make a game about this subject but such an important mental health topic that all of us need to be vocal and supportive about. Thanks for making it :)
Thanks a ton, that's all so kind of you to say! I'm so shocked that the puzzle design worked out for the most part, as this is my first attempt at this style of game. I learned a fair bit from one of my favorite newer indie titles, Isles of Sea and Sky, another Sokoban-style adventure! Check that out if you haven't already.
Had fun with this one, and I usually don't with gravity-switch platformers, but the precision leniency that comes naturally from your specific implementation was a nice surprise. Being able to switch gravity directions by simply jumping against a surface is great. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be music, but I didn't encounter any unfortunately, and the sound effects are a little tough on the ears unless you really lower the volume. Still, good game with fun puzzles to navigate!
Congrats on your first game!! It's fun, challenging, and a very unique take on the theme. I was feeling cocky getting an x5 damage boost, then the 20+ ohms started showing up and I was frantically mashing my spacebar like my life depended on it. Again, congratulations on your first game and first jam submission, this is great!
Love the story in this game, simple but effective! Definitely a tough tough challenge right at the start though, I think the game could feel better and more fair if the danger and enemy count ramps up slower than what happens now. I'm not too great at bullet hells in general, but there's a lot to like here still. The challenge of watching your ammo and timing shots right, the ability to roll dodge, the art and music - all winners! Nice job.
Surprisingly challenging and fun! The puzzles really made me think towards the end. I think a few improvements could be made mostly in the visual language, like making it more obvious that a specific door or portal is for a specific character and adding outlines to the characters so they are easier to see, but other than that everything felt good and was understandable through experimentation. Well done!
What an atmosphere! Love your approach to this theme, reminds me of the newer Donkey Kong games (some of my favorite parts were where you jumped back and forth between planes like Orpheus does). Having the music be one steady melody with an evolving instrument depending on your progress is an awesome choice that fits this game very well. The color schemes were great and the geometric nature of the backgrounds was quite pleasing. Nice tie-in to Greek mythology at the end. When I first descended into the underworld, I was on the back layer and entered an endless fall right through the terrain, but luckily it looped me back to the top of the screen and I was able to jump to the foreground and continue normally. A simple but well-executed game, great job guys!
Damn, this is so fun! I didn't play all of the levels, but beat the first one and tried the Exotic Health Spa one. It's amazing how much detail you put into the cars, with the feel of driving and all of the various states of broken! The AI drivers are surprisingly smart too, and I love how you gave them limited patience if they're blocked from leaving! Clearly tons of effort put into this game and it's pretty addicting once you get a hang of driving. Really well done.
Absolute stunner. Controls are tight and responsive, visual style is through the roof, and it's a really fun challenge trying to reach the end! I didn't get there yet but I'll be back 1000%. Nothing but positive feedback and five stars from me - you two made an incredible game. The music and sounds especially grabbed me; the vaporwave aesthetic shines so well here. It's like watching a Macintosh Plus album art come to life.
My god, I can't tell if I love or hate the amount of pure chaos in this game. I only discovered snakes could cross over to parallel boards when I decided to try 8 snakes at normal speed. Insanity! And that's just normal speed! Very creative approach to Snake that surprised me in its potential for difficult and complex gameplay. Managing 8 snakes at once at any speed is crazy, but it's possible and works so well for this theme! Nice work.
Congrats on your first game, this is a huge deal! I beat it and enjoyed playing. Amazing that you have both intro and ending cutscenes, that's pretty uncommon in jam games! It almost plays like a horror game with the steadily fading soul, the increasing threat of the universe pools (think I'm getting the name wrong) and the movement speed. At first I wish I could move and push boxes faster, but I think the slow speed adds to the tension and makes this a cohesive experience. Well done.
I can't tell you how much I appreciate the Easy difficulty - I'm not much for bullet hells, but this one is so visually engaging and has a great concept! The death SFX seemed pretty loud and I wish there were some sounds for shooting, but I'm guessing it was a matter of time constraints which is completely understandable. Excellent take on the theme! I loved the skulls rising up and down in the death barrier. The sides closing off at regular-ish intervals is a clever way to up the ante, but I did wish enemies suffered the same fate if they didn't get out in time (though I bet this would require more coding and affect balancing a lot). Great job!
Man, that ending hits hard. As someone with ADHD diagnosed just last year, I really, really appreciate the message behind this game and the care put into the story. It feels quite tailored to me yet I know it's a common experience among others with the same struggle. The 3D and 2D art is fantastic, the cute little room is fun to explore (especially the books), and the sound perfectly compliments everything. Thank you guys for making such a calm and thoughtful game!
Got a top 20 score on the first try, that's so cool you implemented a leaderboard! The intro cutscene is pure magic, I love how much effort you put in with the animations and vocals, really good stuff! The drill suits are awesome. Things get a little crazy if you get too many speed up gems, but other than that gameplay was easy to understand and execute. I like that you set up AI to compete against, and I could see this being a great 1v1 experience with 2 players. Overall a really great job, well done!
Wow, beautiful art, sound, and story! I was surprised at the difficulty I had with a seemingly simple concept, but it really did engage me and demanded I finish the game. I won't lie, a couple negatives I had to sort of spam right-click while dragging it around the screen after spending 5 minutes trying to find it's rightful spot, haha. But I don't find that a fault of the game, it's just a skill issue on my part. Love the ideas and heart in this game, well done Acorn Jelly!
