Yes That's true and I agree, We (me & my wife) were discussing about the catastrophe event and we wanted to make something out of it and that's how this whole idea emerged. Actually for the next steps, we are going to rebuild (and most probably in a more kid-friendly way) this into a more polished and mobile oriented way. Thank you very much for playing and giving your valuable feedback. It means a lot to us.
I agree with you. his version is quite hard to play. I did few tweaks to the game but couldn't upload till the jam ends. Specially with the octopuses, I reduced their trigger distance as well as now they'll move away once the light is off. And added "boid movement" which I discovered very recently. also I increased the visibility of map and reduced the camera zoom to show more area. I'll upload the updated version as soon as the jam is over. :)
