such a fun game!! could not beat your score but enjoyed it a whole lot!! I got some glitching with the platforms that fell down, looked funny to me but don`t know if it your intent ^^
This was fun!! the music and sound effects were a perfect fit. The restart is mentioned already but it`s the only thing I noticed that could be added ^^
Lovely game with sound effects and smart level design ^^ I started thinking about the platforms while playing and thought that it would look adorable if they were branches or cliffs. To match a bit more with background, don`t know if the floating ground is part of the vision but thought to bring it up! good job!!
I could not get the game to open on my computer, it just says "Windows is protecting your computer" and I did`t have the option to try to ignore it. But from what I can see from your screenshots looks the art very pretty. And RATS!! :D
We did talk that we would continue developing this game after the jam.And this is the first game with a combat system, but over all 2 game for us.(I`ve been otherwise a artist only)
(our first game was a 2D platformer with nothing but movement and a few movable objects)
And thank you for the feed-back, had trouble with a (actually strange) power up for the majority of the time and could not get it to work for the life of me. So I added in the end just something, ANY power ups so yeah. :,)
I can`t wait for updates on this!! ^^ it was very fun even with the bugs, and thanks to them I actually got to see the game since I`m not very good at playing games like this. ;_;
I love the art style used and the music fits it perfectly!!Very well done! One Thing I noticed was the different amount of detail in the art. Drawing all of the assets on the same canvas size helped me out a lot when I ran into this problem. ^^
I found out that the left bottom corner is a area where the sad rats cant enter and shielded me from most attacks. (I lost to a laser attack in the end)
It was super fun to get to see all the upgrades and they looked very fun!! Good job
