what about the android version of the game?
Is there a way to download them on steam?

yepp..
That worked...

But i see that you didn't set the "second saves directory" which i would recommend for modern android games as newer android versions don't let the user access the app-directories without having to root the phone...
(mine is fortunately rooted but most users aren't doing that for obvious reasons...)
You can find that variable there:
https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/config.html#var-config.savedir

Hey there ๐Ÿ‘‹

Loved the game for a while now ๐Ÿ˜.

And I just wanted to download the latest Android Version but I keep getting errors that it is an invalid APK... Could you maybe please re-upload or export a new one?

Was able to install previous versions without issues ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I just tested it a little and as far as i can tell it seems to work flawlessly ๐Ÿ‘

I am at work right now tho so I didn't have time to do a "deep dive" to look at edge cases... (But since we are only talking about the basic menu i don't think there are gonna be any issues in there ๐Ÿ˜‰)

Sure!

In the worst case feel free to reach out if you need help with that ๐Ÿ˜

Since this game was made with RenPy this should be pretty easy...

Their Documentation on that: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/gui.html

You could even go ahead and copy the default buttons from the default RenPy example project... (The features included in that would be absolutely sufficient..)

Why is there completely NO interface on the Android Version? I can kinda understand it on the PC version as you have a keyboard there... But how am I supposed to save or load on Android?

OR skip for that matter if I want to skip ahead since I already know the first two chapters...

Seems kind of like an oversight to me...

Would it be possible to get an update with these features enabled? (We are talking about RenPy after all...)

Of course you should test it but there is also a function to copy the saves from an old location to a new one: https://www.renpy.org/doc/html/save_load_rollback.html

(I can't remember where the variable for the general save location is but you should be able to find it somewhere around there as well ๐Ÿ˜‰)

A little important info you should know: with newer android versions it won't be possible to access anything under "Internal storage\Android\data" without rooting the phone!

So i recommend using the RenPy save path settings to set it to use the documents folder to save saves and settings...

sure thing ;D

Hey there bud ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ

Just a little suggestion for your Android release: Please wait until Google accepted the apk certificate (developer certificate) before you release it...

On newer Android versions (Android 13+) the option to "install anyway" to ignore a not trusted certificate isn't available unless you got a rooted phone... (One of my phones is luckily rooted so i can play it there - but on the other one i couldn't install it ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ)

Can you please also look into a way to keep the android users included as well?

As far as I know there is no support for Android games on steam ๐Ÿ˜ญ (an area which definitely needs more love from them)

yes but how will this work with future projects?

Will there just be no new Android games?

If you move over to steam...
How will this affect Android players?
Can we get Android Versions from steam?
(If not this would be super sad T-T )

How many Pages does this Comic have?

(Please add this info in the future)

aah i saw that and was about to get it ๐Ÿ˜‚.

I will wait for another day when you got it foxed then ๐Ÿ‘

I am already looking forward to it ๐Ÿ˜

Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹

When will the Android Version of the new version be released?

Not on Android ๐Ÿ˜‚

I know there are features/shortcuts like that on PC...

(1 edit)

Thanks a lot! That way we can now actually see what is going on ๐Ÿ˜.

I would still adviseo to have a  setting for this since having a slightly darker background is kind of needed on some devices so you can read white text on white-ish background for example...

You should be able to implement a "opacity setting" with what RenPy supports... (i even found some code samples pretty quick when googling the topic)

But for now simply hiding it completely is definitely good enough ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Please do that ๐Ÿ™...

By now i am in the middle of Chapter 4 and by now i can say that in at least 75% of cases the boobs are covered!

And especially in case of this game that is really sad ๐Ÿ˜…

Hey Nekomagames ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ,

I only just started playing the game but already really like it so far!

But there is one big problem (on Android at least): The player cannot change the transparency of the dialogue box which hides all the interesting bits in WAY too many cases...

(almost a third of the screen is just a black box)

Could you please add that option?

JoiPlay (spelled it wrong in my original comment) is an app made to play VNs made for windows on Android...

I just downloaded and added the game and it seems to run perfectly ๐Ÿ˜.

The app is completely free so i suggest you just try it and see for yourself.

Is this game made with RenPy?

(If so people could play it on Android by using the "Joy Play" app with the RenPy plugin)

thought so...

I would stikk suggest fixing that at some point ๐Ÿ˜‰ (would be a shame if someone would end up not playing because of that..)

Hey bud ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ,

just wanted to tell you to maybe get this fixed as it confused me big time ๐Ÿ˜‚:

When you click on the Download for "1.0" apk you get a file called "0.10" and in the main menu it also says "0.10" but if you look at the app properties it says "1.0"...

So what is it now?!? ๐Ÿ˜‚

I guess i got the latest version but someone who doesn't know how to look at the app properties might be lost or even decide not to play a unfinished game... (wich would be a shame ๐Ÿ˜‰)
