Very impressive for a week's work! The idea is quite fun and you've really delivered a full game here. My only remark would be that the speed of the game is rather slow and at a certain point, I wasn't sure if the enemies were going to show up at all ;)

Nice job! The collection phase slowly builds tension with the incoming storm, making it risky to stray too far from the tree. Combat is simple but well polished!

Incredibly funny experience, did not read the instructions whatsoever and was just cooking up ridiculous sandwiches, only to start the game to find out I had to actually remember and deliver them xD

Luckily my British Delight came in clutch (bread, pickle, bread) and secured a probably horrible score of ~3500

Charming little puzzle platformer, complete and well polished!
My only advice would be to zoom in a little bit more, some of the objects to pick up were quite tiny :)

Thanks for letting us know, have received several reports of this. Learned to include a sensitivity slider in the future ;)

Thanks for your advice on the movement! We played around with restricting the axes along which a player can move freely, but in hindsight agree that controlling elevation would have been nice despite the map not having much verticality. It's been interesting too see the many different experiences people have with the low grav movement :)

Impeccable replication of the uncanny valley feeling from old win98 games with rendered cutscenes. Very funny and perfectly captured the theme!

Interesting variety of weapons!

Apologies for the lack of subtitles! We tried to keep accessibility in mind but only managed to add text for key gameplay events in time (like when a solar storm occurs) Thanks for sharing your experience :)

Great concept having these two phases of gameplay to represent the theme, the survival shooting on the ground is satisfying! I think I may have missed some of the game's mechanics or intended gameplay, it'd be great if the page had some more instructions!

Thanks for playing and thanks for letting us know! It should be locking once the game screen is clicked, but we saw some buggy behaviour after uploading.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing! I do intend to clean it up and release a completed version soon :)

Revisited this with your explanation and finally, I didn't kill the crew :D Thanks for the help!

Incredibly atmospheric, the sense of being underwater and running out of breath is very convincing and the varying locales really made me want to keep exploring. I'm fond of dungeon crawlers to begin with (made one for the jam) so this is very inspirational!!

Also excellent use of sound, the faint heartbeat sent me in the right direction just before drowning!

5/5

Solid rpg mechanics with huge variety for the given timeframe! All around great entry. My only feedback would be to have the enemies attack in rapid succession or all at once, since they're all targeting the same character / hp pool.

Glad to see another 3d entry :) Surprising how shooting feels really accurate despite the limited screen space!

Lovely intro and great sprite work!

Yep, the world is 3d and uses 2d billboarding sprites! The camera outputs to a 64x64 texture to downscale it, and that image is shown on the UI together with the party/ monsters /everything else. Thanks for the kind review :)

Very impressive depth, like 2048 and Stardew Valley had a baby. The quests, giving the player choice over the current crop and length of the crop cycle add an engaging layer of strategy. Though, it took a bit of patience to figure all of that out :)

Genuinely think this is a great idea to keep working on and release fully!

Excellent idea and soundtrack with various tunes!

One friendly pointer: despite noting yourself there's no fancy processing around the 64x64 limit, your UI, effects and animations break that rule. Make sure that nothing is ever rendered over a "partial" pixel in order to get maximum points on authenticity!

Aww too bad you didn't get to finish completely, but nice job on on the dungeon gen. Always a tough feature to build!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree the game requires the player to already be familiar with dungeon crawlers, and the combat system needs more explanation. Glad you kept going and enjoyed looking around!!

Very cool roster of familiar characters, bit reminiscent of ye olde flash games :) Nicely wrapped rock-paper-scissors gameplay but like was said before, a computer opponent would have been very welcome. Great job overall!

Glad you decided to submit, nice to see your progress! The sprites are very cute

Charming little experience!

Great job, the directional audio cues really elevate the experience!

Thanks for playing! The combat was fun to make and largely a product of the 64*64 limitation, sometimes less is more :)

Really impressive! The rules of the game are a bit lost on me, but the visuals and mechanics are really well done for this limited timespan. I would love a short guide on how to play :)

A bit cryptic and not sure if intended, but a very creepy vibe. Seems like you had a unique idea and really went for it :)

Awesome! You took a simple premise and made it feel really fun to play, the sense of depth is very convincing!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks, battleship is exactly what I had in mind!

pettable dog (i think) 5/5

Funky game, you did you. The whole thing is a little fever dreamy yet I couldn't stop watching :)

Incredible scope, a fully fledged adventure with upgrades, skills, a map, objectives, a whole dungeon to explore and some cool scripted events. Very impressive!

My only feedback would be is that there's some misaligned movement going on, not strictly keeping to the 64x64 size limit.

Cool use of your custom IDE, makes for a nice demo of the possibilities :) Fun idea and some cool scenes you made with when entering the city and interacting with the guard / trader!

Wake up babe, new Spore just dropped.

Great use of theme, it was fun to roam around and see the various creatures, watch their unique behaviours, and find giblets to buy more mouths.

Nice minigames, would have totally worked out if you stuck with it! Jams can be tough on time... but I hope you learned some new tricks :)
