Pipe Dream isn't technically dead, it had a Kickstarter which is still being updated by the devs. Though we haven't had an update of the game as its still being worked on.
Not sure if it's just me but the screen saying Chapter 9 Naoki's story didn't disappear. It's showing Aurelia over the top of that screen. And it stays that way all through the talk with Tokio until she opens her eyes. I'm assuming it's a glitch, if not then that's fine.
I LOVE THIS GAME. It is so amazing, I love how intricate the backgrounds are and the lovely CGs and the characters are so interesting. I want mooooore.
Ahhhh! I'm so happy to see that the demo is out! It is such an amazing game so far. It is really well made, the quality is definitely higher than a lot of games I've played and this is just a demo! I can't wait to play the full game!

The premise is super interesting, about two cops investigating cases, and one is a demon. I've always had an interest in demon/angel content totally not enough of those around. They seem to have a good banter and the demon is hot. The trainee isn't bad looking either. The art is pretty nice and the music is really nice too. Really nice writing style, I like the interaction between the two characters and it keeps drawing me in, wanting to know more about the world and the characters. D'awwww they're so cute....
Both demo parts are going to be free however the proper game itself would not be free. Creating a game costs thousands of dollars. There is no way that they would be able to cover those costs without there being a price tag on the game for the level of art, backgrounds, coding and time and energy that goes into making a game. They are people with rent and other bills to pay as well.
@Elle95z: It is now already on android app though not apple as it seems that is more complicated. I am sure that if they get permission to do the whole game they will similarly put it on devices as an app as well.
@btsfangirl: The demo is now on android app. As for doing the whole game free i think that is very unlikely. They are a business, and creating a game is not cheap. I doubt it could be free.
@jungkook_97: Again, the demo is free, but the whole game couldn't be free. You are asking a company to make and release a whole game of likely 30-40 hours for free. That is impossible. The sprites, the backgrounds, the game coding all of it costs money. And they have bills like everyone in order to survive and live. No doubt they will do their best to get it both on apple and android.
The downloads are currently for windows and Mac computers.
They aren't supported on mobile devices, though they are working on creating ap versions soon though I'm not certain if that will work on your device i think it was android phones. I'm not sure even if its going on iphones yet.
