Definitely a bug that slipped through testing at the last minute. Seems like 30% of the time the victory screen never pops up after you beat it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Thanks so much for playing!

Loved the hand-done art and I'm a sucker for tactics games. Very original interpretation of the theme!

Very clever take on the theme. Genuinely appreciated the originality that went into this and the presentation was very pleasant!

This was an incredibly ambitious project to be done in less than a week! I was floored that you made an entire working card game with various mechanics that was legitimately really fun to play! My end score was I think 2207 and I know there was a lot of optimizations I could have done. Fantastic entry and might be my favorite of the jam so far!

I loved the atmosphere.  The music with the panned out camera when you're crossing the bridge was beautiful. I ran into a few issues, namely I fell into the stairs in the first area and had to restart and I struggled with the camera in a lot of places. However, the atmosphere alone made this a worthwhile play. Great job!

Great to see you again my friend! Glad you're still making games with so much amazing visual flair <3

I ended up making a barricade around myself that the enemies couldn't get through and won easily lol. Neat game!

Amazing production quality. It was so impressive seeing the opening cutscene feel like a fully voice acted comic strip! Gameplay wise, it was an interesting twist on the Tower Defense genre of having to use your walls to reroute enemies. I got frustrated at first that the routes and base changed and I couldn't rely on the defense I had setup, but then I learned the intended flow of the game.  I ended up beating it my first try with a lot of placing a wall down to block a path, then selling it to bring it back up to get the enemies stuck going back and forth. Incredibly impressive entry!

Cute little scavenger hunt. My first run ended in about 9 seconds but I went back and found a bunch of the loot scattered around.

One of the only games in this jam that I played until the end.  My first couple runs I would die on the first wave. I then stopped using the spear and bomb towers entirely because it got frustrating watching them miss and replaced everything with furnace towers.  The game became MUCH easier. Great game!

The hand drawn style was great. I liked the atmosphere and the fire felt good to control. My one gripe was that the hitboxes felt a little too large and I often took damage in places I didn't feel like I should have.

This was such a creative entry! I love the originality and how frantic it got as time progressed. Everything was packaged in a really nice way too. Fantastic job!

Very fun platformer that felt very well polished. Got stuck a couple times zapping but thankfully R to restart saved me. Definitely one of my favorites I've played this jam!

This was such a fun and clever take on the theme!! Legitimately was wowed with the concept and at the drawings (especially turning into SSJ Goku)! I wish I had someone to play with but this already feels like such a fun couch co-op game. Fantastic job!!

Loved the graphics, music, and cozy feeling (before the tornadoes). Perfect implementation of the theme as well!

Very chill and had me engaged for awhile. Playing for the full 730 cycles is maybe too much, but I had a solid 10-15 minutes of building my lil city.  Cute graphics and nice music choice.

A little tricky to control at first but I liked the idea and the music was really catchy. Great job with this!

Cool graphics but I wish I could have zoomed in and moved the camera around. Simple concept but yeah Tower Defense for sure fits the Calm Before the Storm theme.

A little tricky to control the car, but spot on with the theme.  Very creative game!

I liked how simple the game premise was and how easy it was to control. The graphics were lovely.  My one gripe is that I wish getting caught didn't immediately end your game and send you back to the title screen, I wanted to keep playing.

Incredibly impressive that everything was made from scratch. Great atmosphere and good use of theme. Would have liked to have seen the fish maybe sometimes move towards the bait but overall y'all knocked it out of the park!

You made the shotgun feel SO SATISFYING to shoot. Great use of the theme!

I don't believe in making the player have to restart during Game Jam games so I purposely disabled the lose state so everyone could beat it. Thank you for playing :)

An actual solution: Go to %AppData%\Local\FracturedMind\Saved\Config\Windows open Settings.ini

Set "sg.ResolutionQuality" to a much higher value like 50.

Save.

Relaunch.

My brother in christ, everything is a blurry mess. I have the same problem and have been clicking for 5 minutes and have not landed on the right setting.
EDIT: Posted my fix later in the replies.

I didn't think people were still able to find this game! The broken shields was for guard breaking. If the enemy is defending you can break their shield to damage through their guard.  I definitely didn't have time for a full on tutorial. Thank you so much for playing!

All chalices obtained! This was fun and the aesthetic was really well done.

Hey much appreciated! It's an honor you'd consider me for your team, but I try to avoid those shorter game jams (48/72 hour ones) because it's very disruptive to my schedule and would take out a lot of the fun of game development having to crunch so hard like that.  I'm gonna give you a follow though cuz I'm gonna be rooting for you and your team!

Absolutely LOVED the cutscene aesthetic. Fantastic use of theme and legitimately creepy. The sound design was really great at giving you unsettling vibes.

Love the lego character aesthetic and the use of lighting. The wall climbing mechanic was a pleasant surprise and made exploration a lot more interesting.

I've not seen anything else like this! Extremely original game with great writing and a perfect use of the theme in multiple ways. It's sometimes hard to appreciate the writing when I'm so focused on not missing the arrows, but I really like how this game came together overall. Excellent job!

At first I thought it was a pretty standard flappy bird clone, but then I got to the boss battle and had a good laugh at the cutscene.  I love how you managed to flip expectations with the boss fight but I wish I could start over from the boss fight instead of having to go through the 16 pipes again. Great entry!

Great use of theme. The game was pretty easy but there's a lot of room to expand with the swapping between dimensions!

Love the 2d to 3d aspect switching!

I love that you had Dickbutt as a flushable spirit hahaha

Yep! You can beat it in 6 turns actually!

Beautiful art. Everything felt so polished! The mechanics felt really great to play with.

Beautiful shader, funny dialogue, great use of theme, and enjoyable gameplay. Fantastic job with this!

This is so far the best game I've played this jam. It almost feels like a metroidvania! The polish is also very on point as it felt satisfying doing every action. Extremely impressive entry.

Fun game from start to finish. I liked that the checkpoints were placed intermittently so I didn't have to retrace my steps from the beginning.
