Cool idea! It felt similar to Tricky Towers. I didn't see any value in not scaling the blocks to be as big as possible, so maybe adding a bonus if the player scales the pieces less could make things more interesting.

Fun game! The controls were quite snappy (maybe even a bit too snappy haha), and the art and sfx were well done. If you're developing this game further, I think some more enemy variety and some more attack options would make this game even better (perhaps add a boss or two that you have to fight once in a while). Well done!

Cool game! The art was well done and I like the premise. I wasn't exactly sure how my dialogue choices were received, but apparently I did well enough to not be immediately patched out.

It turns out I'm slightly better at being the soccer ball than I am being the soccer player. The game's pretty great so far, but adding some on-screen text to explain the powerups would be nice so that you don't have to go into the description to figure it out. Other than that, good job!

Neat idea! I like the sense of progression that comes from the upgrades as well as the "player" getting better at the game. Some of the attacks feel a bit weak for boss attacks, but it makes sense since it needs to still be a bit of a challenge.

A fellow disliker of RNG! I think this is a neat concept, but it needs some further fleshing out. Adding some more room types and other things for the player to strive to complete would probably make the game more fun. Overall though, well done!

The twist might have been uninspired, but it was certainly unexpected! Funny little game, well done!

I like the idea and the art is quite nice! The gameplay is pretty buggy though so I couldn't make much progress unfortunately.

Very nice game! Takes me back to the days when I had to pick my dad up from work early because I forgot to put a note in his lunchbox.

Cool idea! Racing to spend all your money is a fun change of pace from other games like this. I think the upgrades could go a bit faster, but that's to prevent people from blazing through the game. Well done!

I thought the pause mechanic would make the game too easy, but making the enemies move relative to the screen rather than the level made for a neat challenge. Well done!

The photo doesn't seem to be loading right, This is the piece you got right?

I kept to 20 since it seemed like a reasonable number for the amount of people I expected to play the game. Maybe once all 20 pieces are found I can update it to have more...

It should still be there if you run the game again.

Pic of piece 15:

Oh nice! No one has found piece 6 yet, so I'd encourage you to post it to the found pieces thread on the game's itch page (https://itch.io/t/2316848/found-pieces)

Ooh, I like that idea! I'll have to see if I can learn how to set something like that up. The idea for this game is that people each find a piece and post it in the "found pieces" thread if it isn't already there. It's a simple collaboration idea since I wasn't sure how to actually make some of the more complicated ideas, like the one you mentioned.

I'm glad you liked the concept! I've created a thread for posting newly found pieces, that way the house can be reconstructed once all the pieces have been found. Feel free to post the piece you found there.

Hey! Developer here,

Make sure to check the the "Found pieces" community topic to see which pieces have been found! If you find a new one, add it to topic so that we can (hopefully) find them all!

The offer is appreciated, but I'll pass on choking this time.

I found piece 8!

I found piece 8! 19 pieces remaining

Thanks! You made it yourself ;)

I really like this idea! I was kind of confused at the beginning, but once I got the idea it made for a very good puzzle game. Well Done

That cut deep man

Good call

There's a demo on steam

I'll take that as a compliment!

Don't fret, you're not the only one. My complete lack of patience is what inspired this game.

That is the idea :) glad you liked it.

Great idea, very well executed. Good job!

Oh dang, that would've been cool. Glad you liked it!

Cool idea! Feels like it'd be perfect for a touchscreen. Very nice art as well!

Haha yeah, completely ran out of time. The character models took forever, and don't get me started on the difficulties of that entrance animation. I finished with only 40 hours spare.

Thanks!

Fun game! I never knew gardening tools had such potential as game mechanics. Great job.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I made this game in Scratch, which has some instrument sounds built in. The "music" is basically random notes that are somewhat close to each other with a larger jump here and there. It's not exactly sophisticated, it just added to the "sub-par child recital"  feel I was going for.

The UI, art, and sound design here are on point. Well done!

Dang, that made my day. Thank you so much!
