Cool game! I see you posted that you made all the music, but when playing the WebGL build, I got no audio feedback (I reloaded the page many times and clicked on the game as well). Besides that though, this is a cool platformer! I think it has the right aesthetic, but if you decide to continue this project, I would love to see what creative twist you would put on it. Celest has the dash, Ori has the abilities, Mario has power-ups, and I'm interested to see what you do to personalize yours. Great submission!

I LOVE the concept of this game. With more work on polish, extra abilities, and some narrative, I could see this being an amazing Steam release.

Awesome game! Super creative, and I enjoy the concept. I could see this becoming a fun game to play online with a friend

Cool game! I would love to play this again with more diverse upgrades, as well as a balancing pass. Amazing work!

Cool game! My only comment is that for me, the movement is a bit too floaty. Other than that, great work!

Cool game! Brings me back to my times when I was a kid, playing games like Monkey Ball

I absolutely LOVE this game!

It has such a unique and funny charm to it. If you continue working on this, PLEASE continue to keep the funny jokes and comments about unfinished enemies. I think this could be a really great game!

Nice game!

Fun little game! I've died a lot of times at the start with the gap spawning on the furthest edge. Ideally, you would ease the player into a more challenging experience to guarantee they survive at least a few seconds. Nice game!

I really loved this, even if it was a short experience!

I can easily see this game becoming something really fun! I would love to see different modes where the triangles might be the same color as the circles, they might spawn faster, the circles might have different movement patters, etc. Great submission!

This is a really cool game concept! I love magic combat games, and I could see this becoming an extremely fun roguelike/roguelite game. It sounds like you have more plans for this, and I'm excited to see what you do!

Cool clicker game! I think with some more indicators when time is getting low, and possible some upgrades you can do after each run (Similar to many other clicker sims), this could be a really fun game!

Cool little game! Like others, I enjoyed the leaderboard system.

Really cool game! I enjoyed the 2D approach a lot. I used the WebGL build, and it appears that the second level isn't beatable as you can't get past the first jump section. Super cool concept though, and I'd be exctied to see what this looks like with even more polish!

Super unique and interesting game! I'm extremely impressed that you were able to pull of a game with such great quality for the jam!

Cool looking game!

I enjoy the risk of letting your main weapon go when you attack. It creates for a nice risk/reward moment. I'm sure with more work, this game could be in a great spot for an endless survival game.

I am blown away by this feedback! Thank you so much for taking the time to write something so in-depth and genuine. I will take all of this feedback to heart while I continue working on this game, hopefully turning it into a Steam release one day.

I am about to go out, but when I get back I will be sure to give your game a play as well!

The controls are listed on the itch page, but to attack it's left click, and blocking is right click.

Hey Jaxah, thanks for giving it a play! I don't have a link unfortunately, but I will see about getting that in. In short, My code was right at 100 lines (everything included), and my self-imposed rule was to create a new line every time I used a ";". This is unfortunately why I couldn't fit a high score in haha

Thank you!

Thanks for the comment! I just fixed this in the latest build, Build_003.

I will!

Thank you so much! I'm very glad to hear that.

Thank you so much! And yes, I completely agree that this would be even more fun with controller support. Thank you for taking the time to play!

Generally in games where there is a directional aim on a 2D space, it aims to wherever the cursor lives on the screen. Because that's how I'm used to directional aiming, it was often times confusing when I would slightly move my mouse to the right and then it would change direction to the right. Hopefully that makes sense!

I LOVE the art style here, words can't even begin to describe it! I found the mouse aim to at times be a little frustrating, but other than that the movement was pretty solid! Loved the audio design here as well, it all felt like it belonged together. Great work!

Words can't express how much I love this art style, reminds me of the N64! Super unique and cool idea for the chest to be hiding as well as refilling daggers. Nice job!

Loved the gameplay! Super simple platformer with very strategic controls. I loved how every choice I made took a lot of thought, even if the puzzle was relatively simple. This for sure reminded me a lot of Celeste, and it feels great!

Super addicting game! I also loved the audio design here, super fitting sounds

This is a pretty cool game! I Enjoyed the slingshot a lot, however the blending in didn't always seem to work for me, or I wasn't understanding it entirely. I enjoyed the level design a lot, and liked the Slingshot introduction. Well done!

That's great to hear! And yeah, as a level designer in the industry, those levels were not up to par lol. And I totally agree, I might continue this project and look into adding some interesting narrative to it similar to Meat boy or Celest. Could make for a cool game with a story and a art pass

Given that I could only fit the core features into this jam, feel free to break them down! Let me know what feels good and what feels bad, I want to make a really smooth, fast, and responsive platformer so input is extremely valuable!

Thanks!

Thank you

Thank you! Unfortunately I only heard about this jam a couple days before submission ended, but I would have LOVED to add more levels and potentially new mechanics/features!

I thoroughly enjoyed this game! It had a very nice flow and the style was excellent.

That's great to hear! Progress for me is going rushed but smooth. Didn't start the jam until this morning so it's only about a 20 hour game jam for me!

Thank you for playing it! I am working out some things right now and should be uploading another build here soon with gameplay balances and some minor bug fixes.

I love the art style
