Thank you so much for the feedback. We are really glad you were able to play it on your phone! There might be some issues with the accuracy of the searches due to the limitation of Mapbox. Are you entering the full street address by any chance? Since we are using the Unity API of mapbox (pretty deprecated atm), there might be some places that would not show up in the search. If the only places that show up are in California, then that should be a bug on our end...

I enjoyed the game quite a bit! I like how you can collect and even listen to the sounds of different animals you encounter, and the story was very unique as well (although there are some spelling errors here and there). I also really enjoyed the music and sounds you guys came up with.
If there is more time for the jam, I would really love to see how the different characters will react to the dialogue through some animations! Also, I'm not sure why sliding is in the game. Personally, I don't feel like it really fits with the style, but the complete FPS-style control feels very nice and responsive. Overall, great job!
Really cool game! The surreal feeling comes across very nicely with weirdly proportioned objects and paper-like characters (a very cool art direction). I like the story quite a lot, and it feels really enticing. However, I did run into a few bugs here and there with the dialogue boxes (sometimes I could get stuck, not being able to select any dialogue options if I don't finish the dialogue before the cutscene ends). The body heat and fuel stats are a pretty cool mechanic, but I feel like more interesting interactions could be done with that. Other than that, a solid entry!
I liked the turn-based mechanic, where you have to balance out how to continue to achieve your goals with the different sets of cards you have. The gameplay loop is entertaining and engaging. One minor nitpick I had was with the cards. When I have too many cards, I can't reach the ones at the end (they just got cut off due to the screen size). There might be some controls to allow me to scroll through the cards, but I couldn't find it. Other than that, really cool game!
Thanks for the reply! I think there might be some misunderstanding about the game mechanics. The game is not about building a city, actually. It's about preserving and expanding nature on your sky island. (And you can't buy critters; they will show up once enough trees/fauna have been established) We want to reward players for positively impacting real life by not relying on fossil fuels and not engaging in any other environmentally damaging acts.
Great game! It's kinda funny how we both had similar aesthetics and idea (although the approach is very different) haha. One thing that may be a bit frustrating is that the player can get stuck on platforms if they are not lined up perfectly. Perhaps you could use a capsule collider to make the movement smoother.
This is a very interesting game once I understood how it plays. The concept of you level up but the same as your enemy is very cool. A couple of suggestions: a quick tutorial of how the game function would help a lot, and the attack phase could have a bit of tweak as it is very hard to beat the AI. Otherwise, great game!
