The idea is that you use the recoil from the beam as a jetpack! I've seen a few people not get that so will add it to the tutorial if I work on this again.

well... I only added low fuel killing the player right at the end of the jam... sorry :)

Super intruiged by this game, and looks like one of the cooler ones of the jam, unfortunately the UX is really holding it back as I am struggling to get plants to grow and have no idea why. I really hope you work a bit more on the UI to get the game to be a bit more intuitive!

InControl is great, but with my limited experience Unity's new input system seems to what it needs to for a project this size. I took InControl out as it is a paid asset and I didn't think I'd be allowed to release it along with this project. I have been using InControl for years with good results though!

I think the music used during the power-up sequence was stolen from youtube, the rest is from the Broforce soundtrack!

Currently I'm fully focused on GORN, but I might do a small amount of work on Frogs when that's done to get it out in some capacity. I really like how focused and pure the game is, so I'm not sure that I'd add a ton to it, though!

The version here is an early prototype. The fuller version of the game is available on Steam Early Access at www.gornvr.com  . The full version features more polish, more weapons, a campaign, literal eyepopping and better gameplay.

Many touch users have reported that the game works without any issues on touch, however as I don't own a rift myself I can't add official support.

There actually used to be a team mode in the game! Unfortunately I don't think my collaborators will be happy for me to release this as open source, sorry :(
