this shit so fucking scary i peed my pants

Certified pro

Thanks for playing my game

Fun game, the dash felt a little floaty, would be nice with some sort of nonlinear interpolation or could possibly make the player as a rigidbody to use forces. I think it would make dashing a little more satisfying that way. Other than that well executed game and good scope

bread bread bread i click the bread to make the bread i use the bread to buy machines to make bread then i buy more things to make bread so that i can make more bread

I worked on it for a couple hours everyday, this was my first game in godot so a lot of it was spent just learning the engine. Thanks for playing my game. To actually answer your question probably around 15-20 hours

(1 edit)

Yes, that was an issue when I play tested, because the ghosts' navigation tiles were too far away from the wall, so the ghost kept making wide turns. If i moved them closer the ghosts sprite would clip through the wall :/

Thanks for playing my game and giving feedback

I HAVE REACHED THE SAFEHOUSE

cool concept, i think it would be better if the rotation of the flashlight was based on mouse pointer so it could be controlled easier.

Pretty good for first game jam, reminds me of vampire survivors

Main issue is that the gameplay later in the game is just around running around in circles chipping down the enemies. I think a way to fix this could be to reduce the number of enemies per round in the beginning (so the player gets more opportunity to get gold for upgrades)

otherwise, well done

good scope well executed very fun

(i got to see some sneak peeks of this on the discord)

high score: 167

cool artstyle

the midnight man was a levitating white bean very spooky

Thanks for playing

I will definitely be making games like this in the future. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Thank you for playing. This was originally a game jam submission so time was scarce when making it, but will definitely make games like this in the future.

Extremely polished, love the suspense when the slasher breaks down the doors. It spared me when I was trapped in a little room because it started to break the door then stopped lol

The interactables did not work sometimes, I shit my pants when the lights turned off.

Interesting concept would be nice to add some post processing (lens distortion, chromatic aberration etc) to the camera when moving the world. It would give the game more feedback otherwise good job

Definitely my favorite game in this game, love the art style and combat

rip

Awesome, that was the feeling that I was going for. Im glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing. And I did consider a character build system but figured it would take long to implement. Thanks for the feedback

Im glad you enjoyed it!

Ya, the rain was something that I added at the last minute to make the game feel more dynamic, I am glad that you enjoyed it and thanks for the feedback!
