In 2015, the World Cup was hosted by Canada for the first time, and I saw the home team play England in Vancouver. They didn't win, but that's not why we watch sports.

In 2021, at the Tokyo Olympics, Canada changed their medals from bronze to gold, the first gold in soccer for the country.
