Hydrologia (Graece ὕδωρ 'aqua' + λόγος 'studium') est scientificum loci, motus, distributionis, administrationisque aquae in tellure aliisque planetis investigatio, circulo aquae, opibus aquaticis, circumiectisque aquaticis sustinendis non exclusis. Qui hydrologiae studeat hydrologus appellatur. Hydrologi sunt eruditi quos scientia telluris aut circumiectorum, ingeniaria civilis aut naturalis, vel geographia physica tenet.[1]
