why are meetings i schedule for others delayed?

I schedule meetings for others. Yesterday the problem started where, once I schedule a meeting, it shows on my calendar view but not on others. Others actually accept the meeting so I know they are getting the notification but it does not show on my end.

I would like to change my email view back to how it was before migrating to Microsoft 365.

Picture of how my inbox looks now (with highlights) vs. how it used to look which is how I want it to look. I don't know how to remove that small bar above the messages (highlighted below) and how to restore it so I see the name of the sender first.
