A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Late Night Mop is a haunted house cleaning simulator.
Story
You are requested to do a quick clean up, late at night by one of your clients who needs the house ready in the morning and, once you get into the house, strange things start happening.
MacOs Version Now Available
MacOS users can now experience the spooky mopping game. I've tested the game on MacOS and it works, however, if you have any issues let me know in the comments here on itch.
V1.1 Update
- Added a Mouse Sensitivity option and a Quit to Main Menu button on the Tasks List.
- Added a new "Trash Cans Galore" cheat to the Extras Menu.
- Moved a stain in the living room that was a bit too hidden in the dark.
- Fixed some typos.

Bro I do not get scared at games but this game made me scream like a bitch, fore some reason the part where he sticks hsi head at you thru the kitchen, scared tf outa me, then I got paranoid and got scared by a lamp in the master bedroom because I thought it was the guy good game

Well the demon spices up the household chore's a little to say the least haha I recorded me completing all 3 endings and enjoyed bro thanks for the fun

Day 1. of reviewing the Itch.io games I've played so far = game n.2
Late Night Mop was a frustrating and unenjoyable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere, which is crucial for any horror game, was so weak and unengaging that I found myself bored almost immediately. It lacked the tension or eerie mood needed to create any genuine fear or excitement.
The jump scares were cliché and entirely predictable. They failed to deliver any real shock, feeling more like cheap tricks that were telegraphed far in advance. It became repetitive very quickly, and the lack of creativity left me feeling like I had seen it all before.
The gameplay itself is mind-numbingly tedious. Cleaning floors and throwing out trash sounds dull, and trust me, it is. The tasks were so repetitive and uninspired that they sucked whatever life the game had left right out of it.
The only redeeming quality is the game's decent graphics, but even that gets overshadowed by how awful the monster looked. It completely ruined any tension the game attempted to build.
Overall, I’d give Late Night Mop a 1/10—not even the visuals could save this one.
is anyone else having problems downloading the current version? had to download V1.0 instead since v1.1 kept failing at 75%
