MAESTRO
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Your dream is to become a concert pianist, but the world is about to end. Finding time for your practice, your messy kitchen, your dead plants and your worried friends gets harder and harder, and you wonder if a single dream is all you can live for.
Maestro is a short slice-of-life game about life choices, relationships, artistic achievement and listening to dog poetry during the apocalypse.
This game was originally designed for the Game Jobs Parade 2020 game jam with the theme "Carpe Diem/Seize The Day", but we ultimately decided to take our time and release it separately!

Controls
- A: move left
- D: move right
- E: interact
- Mouse + left click: choose dialogue option
- f11(windows), cntl+command+F (Mac): fullscreen
Download
Install instructions
- Unzip the .zip file
- launch 'Maestro'
if there are any problems:
- Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date
- Run the game in windowed or fullscreen mode (f11)
- (if on windows) Run 'UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe' under 'Maestro\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us'

arghghhgh!!
Really enjoyed this. Very unique art style with both very pleasing 3D backgrounds and very smooth pixel art animations. The music fits well, too. I also liked the theme of making the most of your remaining time and seeing that whatever achievements you might have in mind may not be the ones that actually make you spend your time well. Good job!
