JunglMaze (Atari 2600)

The year is 1937, Henry Charles Asherton is an English adventurer who has been searching for years for the greatest treasure of them all. Reading anything he could find about the whereabouts of the forbidden book Necronomicon. Finally, he found a clue of where he could find one while reading an old English professors diary hidden in the library at oxford university. The Englishman Sir Walter Raleigh brought it to the new world in the late 16th century in his search for El dorado. During his search he lost it in the jungle together with eight gold masks. Henry immediately started planning his one-man expedition to try and recover the lost treasure the conquistadors was never able to find deep in the amazon jungle. On his way over to Brazil Henry crashed his plane in a storm flying over the Amazonas and was just able to rescue himself from the wreck before it burst into flames. You start deep in the Jungle steering Henry around looking for the eight gold masks before finding the forbidden book to win the game. But look out for poisonous snakes and hostile natives trying to stop you
