Gotcha

I sorta came to that conclusion after asking. Random increases would obviously mess up the threshold.

One more question (sorry)

Does a HP increase for level advancement give the character 6 HP or do they roll a d6 or is it the +3/2/1?

I think Tamed might have a typo.

Pick a special ammo instead of an

Awesome info. Ty

I think that works perfectly.

Do you also adjust how much damage a monster can deal based on power level or is it all the same?

What happens when some players choose to up their HP after advancing a level and others don't? Does that create an imbalance? I'd imagine that the characters with the increased HP would be so much more durable.

I love the addition of HP.

Do enemies/monsters also have HP?

Ok, this is pretty rad. Nice work.

Is there a change log for updates?

I absolutely love this.

It should be getting much more attention.

I don't know where else to ask this but is there a discord for your games? I have a few questions about the vanilla game.

Probably overthinking this but how do dragon breath weapons work? Are there guidelines or does the gm kinda wing it?

I'm in

Awesome

Still loving this game. Any updates planned?

Is there a discord for this awesome game?

is it a grace test to hit with the bolt?

Is there an easier way to give feedback or ask questions?  I feel like I'm clogging this comment section.

Question about cantrips

These are free to cast? Like it can be done every single round?

I've also confused myself with Bolt. Does the +Will mean that the ability is added to damage? So the bolt automatically does d8 + will damage or have I misunderstood?

Awesome

I think there's a typo on the merchant chapter three description

Beautiful

Is there an easy way to convert monsters?

Great work but I have to admit I'm struggling a bit with magic.

Love this

Are there any alternate magic system floating around?

Last question (I promise)

Is there a discord for this game?

I haven't tested yet but it's probably helpful as PCs advance.

Like a character with +3 agility will rarely fail a dodge.

Another unrelated question

What do you think about using the rules for PCs fighting one another with monsters?

Like level three PCs would have a -2 when attacking and dodging a level 5 monster like a black legion champion .

I have another question (sorry)

The worlord has the special that forces a death/wounding roll on a critical hit.

Does that mean a critical fail on a dodge for a PC?

Yeah, the only time I could see it being used if it was a spell with ongoing effects maybe.

Magic in a game is always the hardest thing for me to wrap my head around tho.

Okay, that's cool.

Do you give enemies/monsters any kind of save vs spells?

Much appreciated!

(1 edit)

This may be a dumb question but are there saves against spells?

Like would a PC get a dodge save against a ranged damage spell?  Or would they get an INT save vs some.kind of charm spell?

Any chance for more community copies?

We definitely need a discord

The more I read this, the more obsessed I'm becoming with this rule set.

Are there any plans on adding more Skills in the future?

Can't wait for more spells and monsters.

Love this game.

Has anyone been homebrewing more traits?

Very cool

ha

Thank you. That does help.

I'm a bit confused on HD.

1 Hd = 5 HP, right?

But sometimes the math doesn't add up. Like 2HD+1 won't be 11. What am I missing?

How exactly to HD work?

1 HD = 5 HP

But sometimes there will be a monster with 2 Hd +1 but the total HP won't be 11.

I feel I've confused myself

That's what I thought but why ever buy the more expensive iron plate or can that be "broken" more than once?

glaive is my go to fantasy knave hack right now but I really like how you split the talents up based on abilities.

This is beautiful

Has me itching to convert it to a fantasy setting.

(1 edit)

Yo, I really really like this.

I'm a fan of 2400 games.but they are like 10% too hand wavey. This is what I've been looking for.  But how do the different armors work?  Do they all have the same AV?
