The Battle of Blair Mountain was the largest armed uprising in the United States since the Civil War. Thousands or disgruntled coal miners took up arms against their abusive bosses to secure better working conditions for themselves. The tension between the miner’s Union exploded into all out war on August 25th, 1921, over 100 years ago. Within 5 days, the national guard was called to put an end to the uprising, making a chilling decision to use weapons of war against their own people. By September 2nd, the uprising was defeated but not without putting up a hell of a fight. This game will place players in the midst of this uprising on the side of the Miners. Fight your way through the battle, and this time, find out what may have happened if the miners had won the day instead.
