Video tular
Video tular atau video viral (bahasa Inggeris: viral video[2][3]) ialah video yang menjadi masyhur atau popular setelah menular dalam kalangan orang ramai berikutan perkongsian ia dalam Internet lazimnya melalui laman web perkongsian khusus seperti YouTube serta media sosial dan e-mel. [4][5] Kandungan yang dikongsi barangkali bernada serius mahupun membangkitkan emosi berat, tetapi banyak lagi yang lebih berunsur jenaka hiburan termasuk produksi komedi televisyen (seperti yang diihasilkan The Lonely Island), penumpuan kepada lagu yang dianggap aneh (seperti "Numa Numa"[6][7] dan "Chocolate Rain"[8]), gelagat lucu (misalnya The Evolution of Dance[6]) ataupun kerenah ramai ;lagi-lagi daripada situasi politik (seperti I Got a Crush... on Obama[9]). Beberapa peristiwa yang diasksikan ramai juga telah dirakam "menjadi tular" seperti Pertempuran di Kruger.[10]
Satu pengulas memanggil video Kony 2012 video paling tular dalam sejarah[11] (kira-kira 34,000,000 penonton dalam tiga hari dan 100,000,000 penonton dalam enam hari[12]), tetapi "Gangnam Style" (2012) menerima satu bilion tontonan dalam lima bulan[13][14] dan merupakan video yang paling banyak ditonton di YouTube dari 2012 sehingga "Despacito" (2017).[15]
