42 is a card game for mental calculation enthusiasts. The game is played alone, like a patience game. You can also challenge a friend.
All you need is a classic 54 cards deck .

Nice idea, but a complicated game!
Thank you. I admit that the game takes time to learn. The best way to get into it is to begin with simple solutions: 4 and 2 cards; 7*6; 10*4+2... Then take the time to look for more subtle calculations. The game is about experimentation. Finally, challenge a friend in the two player mode only when you feel ready. I'm thinking about a calculator application for the game. This would probably make the mechanics easier to understand.
Could be fun to program it with nixie tube images, like a kind of steampunk thing:
Cool idea, it's always nice to use traditional cards in new ways. And the aesthetic of the whole thing is great too :)
Thanks. It was a great challenge for me to create some rules and make the game understandable... Not sure I succeded on this last point xD. It's something completely different from a video game where all the rules are here by design so there is not much to explain.
