Overview
"Hatch" is a single-player, first-person horror game. The player is unarmed and hiding while trying to reach his goal.
Summary
The protagonist wakes up in the morning and finds a hatch in the middle of his room. Running from intruders, the protagonist is forced to make a choice.
Language
Japanese and English are supported.
Please note
This game contains intense violence, blood and gore. Also, there will be sudden loud noises. Please refrain from playing if you have a weak heart.
How to Install
Only Windows is supported. Download the file and extract it.
It may not work with integrated graphics cards. For DirectX 11.
Transferring saved data
If you want to transfer data from another version, copy the "savedata.xml" in the "Hatch_Data" folder to the "Hatch_Data" folder of the desired version.

Hatch ist wirklich sehr random. Es ist eine Mischung aus Horror und Komödie, weil viele Dinge keinen Sinn ergeben. Es spielt sich wie Hello Neighbor nur ohne die Dynamik und auf engstem Raum. Allerdings campt die Ki die wichtigen Punkte genau dann ab, wenn ich sie brauche, was das ganze einfach nur zu einer mühseligen Arbeit macht. Selten gibt es mal Cutszenes die von schleichenden Verfolgungsjagden ablenken und das Spiel etwas auflockern. Es wirkt alles sehr Random und leider durch die Absurdität auch nicht wirklich gruselig.
Spiele wie Saiko no Sutoka schaffen es hingegen etwas Story einzubauen und eine gruselige Atmosphäre bei einem logischem Maplayout zu erzeugen und sind dennoch herausfordernd. Bei hatch wirkt das Environment und das Hauslayout sehr wahl- und lieblos gestaltet.
Leider ist Hatch nichts ganzes und nichts halbes, denn für eine Horrorkomödie ist es etwas over the top und nicht selbstironisch genug.

Gameplay was fun; all the items were easy enough to locate and I was really grateful that the progress bars maintained the completion level, so you could easily run away before you finished a task and then go back to it.

there should be chapters to the game so we can actually understand whats going on with the story

The game was funny more than anything, not really so scary and didn't understand the plot. The AI has room for improvement also as the objective camping wasn't the best. Perhaps the story could be improved with more dialogue?
Overall the funniness of it made this game fun to play with my viewers on a live stream. We had a lot of laughs, cheesy jumpscares and memes.
I think there's a lot of potential for this developers future games to be improved upon, as there is clearly talent there, the game just lacked a little something and was funny more than anything. Huge disappointment with the game, bought it to try it out on my channel, was hoping it would be fun and ended up quiting the game because of the way the developer thought about the saving mechanics
You play hide and seek with the computer that comes to you instantly once you try to complete the task given, and after working hard to complete it, the game doesn't automatically save, you end up getting caught and you have to start it all over again
I understand the computer knows exactly where you are and hunts you down but I would've imagined that once you complete a task it would be logically to have an auto save so in case you die, you continue where you left off, instead you go 5-10 minutes behind and have to repeat it all over again. not fun at all

THIS GAME BROKE ME LOL! On a serious note this game just needs some tweaks and it would be genuinely TERRIFYING! The game is really hard, which I enjoy, but I feel it was a little too hard. For example, when she camps the objective and you have to run around for 5 minutes and slowly do the task little by little. That was really tedious. The game overall was scary and could be scarier with minor fixes! Keep up the great work!
