SP1D3R: City Scale!

It's the far future. Your research has been forbidden by the oppressive government as they seek to control the masses and keep them underfoot, but the knowledge you've uncovered could change everything! In your dying breath you upload that data onto your spider-bot, SP1D3R, now all that's left is for it to reach a high enough point to transmit the signal to the world before it's shot down by your pursuers. Guide the bot upward and broadcast your message to the world!!

Controls:

WASD to move

Space to dash

Avoid the bullets and lasers!

Notes:

This is a small game I made for the GMTK 2024 Game Jam so isn't as finished as I'd hope (spoilers: there is no top of the building or plot continuation 😅) but it was alot of fun to draw and make so hope you enjoyed the concept!
