Since 2005, we have impacted the lives of 2.5+ million beneficiaries with the support of 500+ full-time employees and a 1000+ strong volunteer network, across 22 states while partnering with 200+ corporations along with Government support.
A group of BITS Pilani students in 2005 started the volunteer efforts to help the needy individuals from the lowest strata in an environment where people are hesitant to take the first step toward service.
They began teaching the kids of construction and mess workers, and they frequently visited nearby villagers. They would connect with the grassroots of their society and understand the reality of India and how much work is still left to make a developed country. The hearts that had been ignited persevered even after they had finished their studies.
So, in 2007, 'Nirmaan'—a Registered Society with the motto 'We Have Only One passion, The Rise of a Great Nation'evolved from the modest, passion-driven project known as 'My India' by a group of ten students.
