Hi, my brother and I have been working on a game called Subspace Armada and we’ve been using images generated by this application. We downloaded a bunch of images generated by this and cut the individual station parts into individual images, which we then used in our game to generate random space stations for our title screen. We plan on using them elsewhere as well, such as a system map where these stations will represent locations you can visit. We plan on modifying the sprites and perhaps adding additional ones in a similar style, and we plan on eventually selling our game to fund future projects. Would it be fine if we still used these station parts that we obtained from images generated by your application or would you prefer we not use them and instead use completely original assets?
To be clear, we have provided very clear attribution to you in our credits screen, clearly stating that we obtained assets from this application, “Space Station Generator”, which was made by you, N2D.
If there is anything more you’d like us to do in our Credits screen, such as perhaps also providing links or attributing you under a different name, just say the word and we will do so. And if you would like us to use our own assets instead of using yours, just say so and we will make sure to use only our own assets and not use yours.
Amazing artwork! I'm using this to play a pen and paper solo RPG about station hopping and scavenging, it really sets the mood! I wish there was a "random" button though, would have made it easier than clicking on parts randomly. Other than that I love it <3
Are these assets available for commercial sale? The license is CCA Non Commercial, but the assets fit our project well. Don't need the generator though as beautiful as it is, just the art assets themselves. Please let me know if a Commercial license can be acquired. :) Attribution is fine as well.
Hey there, thanks a lot for asking and sorry for the late reply! I'm afraid we would be prefer to not license this work under another or a second license, but stick with the current one. Sorry!
Another possibility I could think of would be to create new assets for your project based on the assets in the Generator. Unfortunately though, I'm afraid I don't have enough time to work on something like that at the moment, as I am currently very busy with school stuff. Again, I'm super sorry I can't really help you right now.
Maybe we could work together on something in the future?
Again, thanks a lot for asking and I wish you the best of luck with your project nonetheless! :)
That would be fine, would depend on how far we are into our project at that point obviously. If you would allow we could take the existing artwork and modify it ourselves. I myself am a pixel artist and could modify it so it's nothing close to the original using the existing base as a starting blueprint. If not then I'll just create from scratch. We are working on the space station UI design right now in the project.

I cannot find where this generator saves images on the downloaded version. I've searched all through my PC folders with no luck.
