A downloadable game for Windows

Made in 48 hours for both GMTK Game Jam and MonoGameJam3 because it meets the criteria for both jams.

Featured in Mark Brown's "The Best Games from GMTK Game Jam 2021" for about 2.5 seconds!

How To Play

Click and drag cartridges to move them. Cartridges on the left are inactive, cartridges along the bottom are active and modify the curve. Order matters! The curve is the resulting composition of the functions of each cartridge.

For example [Sin] -> [Min(1)] -> [Abs] creates a curve representing Abs(Min(Sin(x),1)) ... It'll make sense when you play it.

Cheat Code

If the game glitches out and you cannot continue, or you just want to see the whole game, use this key combination: "Pbageby Nyg G" (to avoid spoilers, you'll need to decode the key combo here)

I've never had so much fun with functions. You managed to do something that none of my teachers or I could have done. Please make more levels and more types of functions. I would recommend writing the formula in math language if that's possible of course. 10/10 puzzle and if expanded further could be an extremely useful learning tool.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it

Please, can this game continue? I would love to see this concept extended to exponential and logarithmic functions. Or for really crazy puzzles, bring in inverse function, derivative and magnitude Fourier transform. The possibilities are endless!

Math teachers: NO YOU CANT JUST MAKE A GAME ABOUT MATH THAT IS FUN!

This guy: HAH SINE GO BRRRRR

This is great! It's got a clever premise, just the right level of flexibility that the puzzles are interesting without having too many solutions to test, and great animation and sound. I wonder how effective this (or something like it) could be for helping students learn function composition.

Love everything about this game. It makes me feel ten times smarter than I actually am.

Had lots of fun messing around with this, beautifully polished game! :D

What an idea to turn into a game! Very nice execution; I was almost shocked by how well it worked with that premise
