Last Night at the Blue Beacon

On a stormy night, an artist collective of modernised monsters gather round a digital campfire, waiting for a radio to tell them whether their country is going to war. To distract themselves from the anxiety, they decide they'll each tell their own spin on an old folktale.

Written for Bluebeard Jam. Not finished, but you can enjoy the 5K-word beginning. I'll try and finish the rest by the end of the month for the Nonbinary Jam. Because a lot of the characters are nonbinary. New plan: I'll update this each time I finish another piece featuring one of these characters. Like a rolling epilogue.
