Dance, Bro!

Dance, Bro! is a game created for the 2022 Lynx Jam.

Dance your way to internet stardom. Grab some love and dodge the haters. Catch some hearts and take that fire for big points, but dodge everything else. If you get 10-points of social shaming, your game is over. Rack up as many likes as you can before that happens. The game will auto-restart so you can try to beat your previous score.

If you catch a heart or a flame with your hands or feet (spin or split), you get extra points.

Dance, Bro! gets more difficult once you've gained 10 likes. Make it to 20 likes, and the difficulty will ramp up again. 30 likes? Get ready for a challenge.

The Controls

Up and down - Walk up and down

Left and right - Moonwalk

Button A - Do a split

Button B - Spin

Option1 - Disco Mode! (non-scoring)

Option2 - Exit Disco Mode

Changes made...

1. A bug was hopefully fixed that was freezing the title screen occasionally when played on the legit Lynx.
2. At 30 hearts, a new element of difficulty was added.
3. The high score of the playing session is displayed in the lower-right corner of the screen.
