Looking forward to it
I tried the version 0.06 and there is no chance that I will invest $ 45,- USD for this version. This is rediculous.
It is a BETA, by definition it is incomplete. You can wait for the full release. But to say "this is ridiculous" when the whole point is to offer something for people that don't want to wait and want to offer a higher amount of support in exchange for something so exclusive........in a world of leaks and pirates, it is people that buy the BETA that are really helping the development of this game. Production costs money.
Is there enough content in the game that makes it worth $45 now or would we have to wait until it gets to a point that makes it worth $45?
The BETA is $50, not $45.
It will contain: The small Gene scene, the small Janet scene, and the beginning portion of the large Terrance scene.
The whole point of a BETA is to give people a small taste of the upcoming full release. You don't have to buy it. It is for those who don't want to wait longer, and to help support the game even further financially buy buying something very exclusive that most people won't get. It also helps us recuperate the money lost when the full release has leaks.
I know what a beta is for. I'm not that dumb. I don't want to wait longer but I also want to make sure there's enough content that makes your game worth its asking price. Helps recuperate loss of money? So you have a high price just in case people pirate your game? With your current price, people will likely pirate it.
Well, since you are not dumb, you should understand the logic behind the high price. And no, no one has pirated the beta before and we've been doing this for months.
Since you also understand the nature of beta releases, you know there is very little content compared to the full thing.
