In an increasingly fragmented and divided world, we can only achieve sustainable solutions through more cohesion and cooperation. Listening to each other is key in this regard. We ensure ongoing dialogue with our partners and the people we are working for. When they share their ideas and solutions with us, we actively listen and are therefore learning all the time. At GIZ, we want to understand what challenges the people in our countries of assignment face and how we can provide support. This enables us to implement our commissions even more effectively.

Through our international engagement, we recognise connections between global challenges, and bring together thematic areas, people and perspectives – for instance, those of our commissioning parties and partners. In stable partnerships based on trust, we accept shared responsibility and connect a wide range of expertise. Thanks to the impetus provided by our partners in different projects and countries, we are always learning about new ideas and solutions.
