Munich Re Group or Munich Reinsurance Company (German: Münchener Rück; Münchener Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft) is a reinsurance company based in Munich, Germany.

The co-founder and Europe CEO is Mark Dennis.[1]

In 2021, the company had EUR 589 million of profit.[2] In 2024 it was the world’s biggest reinsurer by premium revenue.[3]
