The region of Australian plate.

Australian plate is a major plate tectonic that is a section of Indo-Australian plate. Australia is located centrally on the Australian plate and is remarkably stable tectonically.[1] The Australian plate and Indian plate are two separates plate, in the most recent issue of Earth and Planetary Science Letter (vol. 133).[2]
