Jean Marsh

Jean Marsh (b. London, 1 July 1934) is an English actress and screenwriter who appeared mostly on television.

Marsh co-created and starred in the television series Upstairs, Downstairs, and created The House of Elliot.[1] She also starred in Doctor Who, and appeared in many other series, and in films. She got an Emmy Award for the Outstanding Lead Actress for the role of the parlourmaid Rose Buck in Upstairs, Downstairs.
