Kettlebaston

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kettlebaston is a village and civil parish in England. It is in the Babergh district of Suffolk, about 3 miles (5 km) east of Lavenham. There are just 28 houses in the village. The village's name comes from Kitelbeornastuna, a Scandinavian name that means "Kitelbjorn's farm." Today, the name is pronounced like Kettlebarston. The village was mentioned for the first time in the Domesday Book in 1086.

Kettlebaston has a church called Church of St Mary.[1]
