TriMet

TriMet is the transit system in Portland Oregon. It was formed in 1969, and has since become the primary transit provider in the Portland Metropolitan Area.

TriMet has 3 main modes of transit[1]

  • Bus service: 85 local, express, and bus rapid transit lines.
  • Light rail: 5 MAX light rail lines.
  • Commuter rail: the WES commuter rail line.

TriMet also runs a paratransit service called "LIFT".[2]
