Orava: No Ladders to Heaven
(Note: we recommend playing the downloadable version due to block detection issues in the browser version! You deserve the optimal experience. Treat yourself.)
Oh no! A squirrel's house has been utterly demolished by a mysterious falling block. Swearing vengeance, the small mammal gets BUILT by pumping iron and begins SCALING these structures towards the heavens to land a righteous, resounding biff on whoever is dumping these ginormous tetrominoes (and similar shapes) on unsuspecting folk.
HOW TO PLAY
Someone above you is dropping blocks of surprisingly varied colors and shapes at you. As you move, you are targeted by them, and after a short time, they'll lock onto a position determined by your location at the time. (We've all seen this in boss fights before.) You'll have to move out of the way to not get hit, as any part of a block that hits another surface sends a squirrel-squishing shockwave directly downwards.
Thankfully, and very conveniently, the blocks come equipped with various platforms for you to navigate! In lieu of ladders, use these platforms to jump your way up towards the nefarious higher power. Use your wit and speed to lead the blocks to an advantageous position for you!
One more thing: each block also pushes down the blocks it smashes into, cutting off some previous platforms. No resting on your laurels.
In short: don't get flattened, and keep climbing! Now, go and deck that detestable deity -- just leap right at it once you get there! It might have one last trick up its sleeve, though...
