I'm Amanda Silver. I am the CVP for the product, user research, and design disciplines for the Developer Division at Microsoft. We build all of the Microsoft products that target developers as their primary user including Visual Studio, Code, .NET, TypeScript, and our Azure Application Platform and Developer Services. I also have the privilege of being the General Manager for our 1st party engineering systems - essentially the Platform Engineering team at Microsoft. I've worked on behalf of developers for the past 22 years and have loved every second because the future always starts with developers.
