Miroslav (Mirko) Wicha

President, CEO and Chairman
As Haivision’s founder, Mirko has over 30 years of proven senior management and worldwide sales experience with software and hardware companies in the graphics, high performance computing, and multimedia industries such as Discreet Logic, Autodesk Inc., Alias|Wavefront, Alias Research Ltd., Silicon Graphics and Hewlett-Packard.

With extensive international experience, Mirko has managed and built successful high tech companies worldwide, with a focus on global expansion and building shareholder value. Mirko received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics degree from Acadia University (Canada).

Peter Maag

Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
Peter brings over 26 years of proven experience in international business development, sales, marketing, and strategic partner development. Previously, Peter served as Vice President at Hyperchip (telecommunications sector – VC funded), Discreet Logic / Autodesk (multimedia/broadcast sector – public), and Matrox (computer graphics sector – private) developing top-level strategic alliances and channel / OEM partnerships.

Peter received his MBA from McGill University and his Bachelor of Engineering Science (Mechanical Engineering) degree from the University of Western Ontario (Canada).

Dan Rabinowitz

Chief Financial Officer and EVP Operations
Dan brings over 30 years of finance and administrative management expertise to Haivision. Previously, Dan served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for FinanSure, Inc. (a student loan lender), TUSC (an IT professional services firm) and Peapod, Inc. (the world’s first internet grocer), where he has significant experience in capital raising, M&A and infrastructure building. He also served as an M&A intermediary for Geneva Capital Markets a subsidiary of Citibank.

Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, and his Masters of Management degree (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (USA).

Jean-Marc Racine

Chief Product Officer
Jean-Marc has served as Havision's CPO since January 2022. He has over 25 years’ experience in product, marketing, sales & executive positions in the media & telecom industry working in France, UK & USA. Prior to joining Haivision, Jean-Marc consulted for leading service providers, technology & private equity firms supporting due-diligence, product, and technical strategies. Working with The Permira Funds, he supported Cisco’s SPVSS division spin-off to form Synamedia in 2018, a global video platform supplier where he served as CPO, based in London, until 2020. He co-founded Farncombe Technology in 2007, a video and security specialist sold to Cartesian in 2015, where he then served as SVP Media & Telecom Advisory Services until 2018. From 1997 to 2004, he held several executive positions for CANAL+, the leading European media company serving as CEO of its US Subsidiary in San Francisco from 1999 to 2002, and as EVP Product & Marketing in Paris until 2004. He received his master’s degree in engineering from Institut supérieur d’électronique de Paris (ISEP) in 1993.

Jean-Philippe Demers

Senior Vice President Operations
Jean-Philippe Demers brings 20 years of supply chain and operations management experience to Haivision. Before joining the company, Jean-Philippe held a number of senior management roles at aerospace, manufacturing and technology companies, including Pratt & Whitney, Hyperchip, Clarent Corporation and Procter & Gamble. Most recently, Jean-Philippe was the senior manager of advisory services at Gestion Conseil Robert Lamarre where he consulted clients on supply chain processes and strategy. Jean-Philippe received his MBA from McGill University and his Bachelor of Science degree from École Polytechnique de Montréal.

Brian Henry

Chief Revenue Officer, Haivision MCS
Brian has more than 10 years of proven sales experience building effective revenue growth strategies and leading results driven sales teams. With a combination of extensive sales and technical experience, Brian has helped build and grow successful high tech products in a broad base of industries. Most recently, Brian led the enterprise, defense and government business for the Americas. Prior to joining Haivision, Brian served as a system engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton where he designed the deployment of video streaming solutions over satellite, and at Bank of America designing IT infrastructure for online banking.

Brian holds a Masters of Information Systems Management and a Bachelor’s in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.

Steve Brousseau

Vice President, Customer Success
Steve brings over 14 years of proven experience in building and managing customer-serving teams and a passion for customer success and promoting customer-centric processes and culture. Since joining Haivision in 2008, Steve has held senior roles in sales operations, business operations, and customer success.

Previously, Steve worked at Hyperchip Inc, a Montreal-based telecommunication start-up company. Steve studied Business Administration at Concordia University.

Marcus Schioler

Vice President, Marketing
Marcus has over 25 years of experience in technology, product marketing and management, sales readiness, strategy and product development. This experience has allowed him to develop a broad base of knowledge in video streaming and broadcast workflows, expertise in post-production for commercials, film and television, video games and eSports. He frequently presents and writes on numerous video-related topics including broadcast and enterprise video, cloud workflows for live video, remote production, and low latency video. Marcus received his Bachelor of Science (Geophysics) degree from the University of Western Ontario (Canada).

Ronan Poullaouec

Senior Vice President, Engineering
With over 20 years of experience in the video technology industry, Ronan is passionate about innovative technologies like 5G technology. Ronan co-founded AVIWEST in 2008, developing linked cellular video solutions for the broadcast and media market. Under Ronan’s leadership, AVIWEST was acquired by Haivision in 2022 to grow the product portfolio and help expand the company’s global development operations. Ronan holds an engineering degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rennes.

Lawrence Wilk

Vice President, Finance
Lawrence brings over 20 years of accounting and management experience to Haivision. Previously, Lawrence was director of finance and CFO at companies in the manufacturing and finance sectors. He also served a wide variety of businesses as a principal at the accounting firm Richter where he was a key business advisor to his clients. Lawrence received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from McGill University and his Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Concordia University (Canada). He obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 1997.
