Edit Direct Sponsored Content ads for Classic campaigns

Direct Sponsored Content ads are Sponsored Content ad formats created directly in Campaign Manager. You can edit Direct Sponsored Content ads by editing your campaigns.

You'll need ad account and LinkedIn Page permissions to edit Direct Sponsored Content.

Important to know

If the same ad is used in multiple campaigns, edits will affect all versions of the ad. If a campaign is duplicated, edits to the ad won't be applied to other versions.

To edit a Direct Sponsored Content ad for a Classic campaign:

  1. Sign in to Campaign Manager.

  2. If you need to switch accounts, click the account name in the upper-left corner of the page and select the correct account name from the dropdown. 

  3. Select the correct campaign group and campaign name where the ad is saved.

  4. Move your cursor over the ad name and click Edit.

  5. On the Ads in this campaign page, click the More icon to the right of the ad you want to edit and select Edit from the dropdown.

  6. Edit the ad’s fields that you would like to update.

  7. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Here's a tip

When you edit an ad that’s paused it will be resent for ad review. Once it’s approved, the ad status will change from paused to active.
