This course helps new Jira users get started, access the important areas of the application, and work with issues so you can track and manage your to-do list. It doesn't matter if you're a software developer, a marketing manager, a procurement specialist, or an HR generalist. Any team member can use Jira. Jira is essentially a big database where tasks are trackable, searchable, and sortable. There are so many things you can use it for. Jira helps you schedule tasks, manage your team, plan a product pipeline, and more. Here are some examples. If your Jira application looks like these screens, you're in the right place. This course is for users of the Jira Cloud deployment type. This means Atlassian is hosting the software on their servers. If you have Jira Server or Data Center instead, take my other learning Jira course for that application type. Not sure if you have Jira Cloud Server or Data Center? No worries. Read my "Which type of Jira do I have?" article or just ask your Jira administrator. You may be brand new to Jira, have some Jira experience, or have used Jira at a previous company. Additionally, you might be a new Jira administrator without much end-user experience.
