Working with Adobe Stock

- [Instructor] Adobe Stock can be a fast and easy way to find and purchase assets for your project. For this image, I want to search for another photo of a deserted highway. I'm going to go into the Canyon Land library and across the top, the default is to search the current library, but we can also choose to search in Adobe Stock. I'll go ahead and type in deserted highway and we can see the results. Now there are a number of different ways that I can filter. Here, I don't want to look for a vector, but instead I want to select photos. Then we can scroll down until we find an image that we want to use for our project. When I find an image, I can click on the plus icon and Photoshop will automatically download it to my open library. Then I'll drag and drop that in the image area, and then I can scale it and transform it in order to see what it would look like. We can see that there's an Adobe Stock watermark on top of this. If I wanted to purchase and license this image, we can see in the properties panel the stock file number and we can click to license the asset. As soon as I license it, the watermark would automatically go away. Because the library's panel is quite small, we can also search online. Here, I'll click find similar and Photoshop will take me automatically to Adobe Stock in a browser. Now we can see more images at one time and when I see an image I like and I click on it, I can see additional information about that file. I can an even look at more images from this series. And when using a browser, there are a lot more options that we can use to filter the images to quickly find what we're looking for. I'll go ahead and choose to save this to my library and we can see that it's saving it to my default library, which is the library that's open. I can return to Photoshop and then drag and drop that into my image, again, transforming it and repositioning it as needed. So as you can see, Adobe Stock Photos can be a fast and easy way to find and purchase assets for your project.
