You end up going in circles for hours, only to end up watching something you've seen countless times. What I'm about to teach you is a tool to help you better organize your thinking and identify new opportunities. And it could be used in all aspects of your life, even outside of work. The MECE principle stands for mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive. Mutually exclusive ensures there are no overlaps. Collectively exhaustive ensures there are no gaps. Now let's decide what you want to watch on Netflix using MECE. To start, we break down the options into two groups. The first option is a TV show, and the second option is a movie.
