Providing services: Diversity & Inclusion, Training, Healthcare Consulting, Research Skills, Program Management, Project Management, Public Speaking, Strategic Planning

    San Francisco, CA

Summary: My passion for developing equitable and uplifting healthcare systems that serve the needs of our marginalized communities stems from my lived experiences, professional background in healthcare administration, quality improvement and compliance, clinical research, and practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist. Given the limited research on these topics, particularly in the field of eating disorders treatment, I work to address healthcare disparities, develop justice-focused policies embedded within operational systems, create effective treatment methods to reduce the burden of mental health and mortality rates associated with eating disorders, and bridge the research-practice gap. My clinical research experience includes family therapy with marginalized suicidal adolescents, emotionally focused therapy with marginalized couples, and eating disorders. I have served adolescents and families in inpatient and outpatient settings, individuals and families with eating disorders at various levels of care. I am skilled in connecting with clients with a culturally sensitive and strengths-based approach, conducting structured interviews, assessments, and data collection, management, and analysis. I am open to connecting with other professionals and especially eager to support learning with humility and cultural safety in pursuit of addressing these disparities and better serving marginalized populations. Views my own.
